Should I visit a chiropractor?

Almost anyone who has suffered personal, sports-related, or work-related injuries would benefit from a consultation with a chiropractor.

Also, anyone who suffers from chronic or continuous pain or exacerbations (re-injuries) should consult with a doctor of chiropractic.  In addition, researchers tell us that more than half of the general population (some statistics report up to 80%) will suffer from one of the great varieties of vertebrogenic disorders in their lifetime—that means disorders of the body that are caused in whole or in part by spinal problems will at some point affect most people.

In addition to pain and discomfort in the back and neck, these disorders include tension headaches, migraines, dizziness, neuralgia’s, pain in the shoulders and arms, certain types of pain in the chest and abdomen, pain in the hips, pain in the knees, pain down the legs (sciatica), disc disorders, certain digestive disorders and various other problems.

The connection between these seemingly unrelated conditions and the spine is the nervous system.  Chiropractic adjustments help to remove interference in the nervous system—thereby often relieving accompanying symptoms.

So, if you have a brain and a spine, then you are a candidate for natural and effective chiropractic care!—especially if any of the above-mentioned disorders or conditions affect you.
